Free lunchtime concert series
Reigate Methodist Church, High Street
Monday 21st to Friday 25th July 2008
Local soprano virtuoso Sarah-Jane Dale presents her choice of 40-minute Lunchtime Concerts, chosen from the most outstanding local musicians to provide a musical oasis in the middle of a busy day.
Lunchtime concerts are free (there is an opportunity to donate to Reigate Methodist Church's re-development scheme), and you are welcome to bring your sandwiches. Tea and coffee are available at the concerts. Each concert starts at 12:30pm and is scheduled to finish at around 1.10 - 1.15pm.
Entry to the concerts is free, donations will be gratefully received. Please come and support your local talent.

Caribana Steel Band
Reigate's very own own Steel Band creates a Caribbean feel to the High Street with their trio. Sure to get you dancing in the aisle. The Caribana Steel Band, one of the UK's premier steel bands, is a three-piece acoustic unit led by Eugene de Vlugt. Eugene started his professional career in Trinidad and Tobago, where his band Eugene and The Hurricanes had chart success.

Chamberhouse Winds
All of the members of Chamberhouse Winds are established orchestral and chamber players as well as each being a solo artist in her/ his own right. The group was formed in 2005 with intention of providing high quality chamber music and will be performing fresh from their recital at the Waterberry Festival.

Reigate's own Harp and Soprano duo Sarah-Jane and Luisa are back by demand. Their eclectic mix of Folk song, Opera and Songs from the Shows demonstrates why they are one of the most sought-after duos in the UK.

Kit Massey (Jazz Violin) and Shane Hill (Guitar)
Reigate-born musician Kit Massey has been playing the violin and piano since an early age. He is much in demand both as a Jazz violinist and pianist and as a classical violinist. In this concert, Kit Massey and Shane Hill will be presenting a jazzy mix for violin and guitar and will be joined by special guest Val Manix (Double bass).

Friday 25th July |

Members of the International Harp Ensemble
Led by Luisa-Maria Cordell, the International Harp Ensemble, based in Surrey, has played at the Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall and in Portugal and France. The church is always full for this concert as the wonderful sound of the harp fills the air.
